In the name of Allah the most Beneficent and Merciful

There are two hadiths regarding the cutting of nails on Wednesday. One states that it is beneficial whilst the other states that it can be a cause of leprosy (Tahawi). The conclusion by Imam Ibn Abidin in Durr-e-Mukhtar is that it is better not to cut nails on a Wednesday.
