Wa `alaykum Salaam wa rehmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Without a shadow of doubt, the best of the entire creation of Allah, the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu alaihi wa Sallam is the first and foremost to enter into Jannah. It is through his (SallAllahu alaihi wa Sallam) mediation and intercession that innumerable people upon whom the punishment of Hell would be declared, shall enter Paradise. Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (d. 911 A.H.) mentions in his Kitab al-Wasa il fi marifat al-Awail that: The Messenger of Allah is the first one to resurrect from his blessed grave, the first one to knock on the Door of Paradise, the first to intercede, the first whose intercession shall be accepted, the first who shall gaze his sight upon Allah the Most Exalted. [Pg. 254 printed: Markaz-e-Ahl-e-Sunnah Barakat-e-Raza ,India] Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Muhaddith-e-Bareilly has compiled a great number of Ahadith in his two most outstanding books: Tajalli al-Yaqin bi anna Nabiyyana Sayyidul Mursaleen and al-Amnu wa al-Ula li-Naiti al-Mustafa (SallAllahu alaihi wa Sallam) bi Dafi al-Bala.) Please refer to the aforementioned books to enlighten the hearts with the love of the Messenger of Allah sallAllahu alaihi wa Sallam. There are also many different narrations as regards to who shall enter paradise after the Messenger of Allah and the prophets. A marfu Hadith (whose chain of transmission sanad reaches the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu alaihi wa Sallam) narrated by Imam Abu Dawud in his Sunan on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah RadiAllahu anhu that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq RadiAllahu anhu wa Ardah is the first one from this Ummah to enter into Paradise. [Pg. 255 of Kitab al-Wasail] The first from the rich to enter into paradise is Sayyiduna Abd al-Rehman ibn Awf RadiAllahu anhu as reported by Abu Nuaim on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik RadiAllahu anhu with a sanad that is Marfu. The first to be called towards Paradise are those who praised Allah not only in happiness but also at times of grief. [narrated by imam al-Tabarani on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas RadiAllahu anhuma] The first to enter Paradise are the honest businessmen [in their dealings with others and in fulfilling their promises].
