Assalamu Alaykum. I would like to ask if I have to pay Zakaat with the money i have received from college. This is a bursary fund and it was given to me to help with the cost of transport. Jazak Allah (

If it a bursary (unlike the student loan which you will paying back) then Zakah will be given of that money. You will add the amount to the total amount you have and give 2.5% as Zakah
